Fluffing My Fall Mantel

After I posted my Fall mantel, which you can see here, I was a bit disappointed with it. I tried using only what I had and I ended up needing a few extra supplies to achieve the look I was going for. So I ran by Michael's one night after work and picked up a few things at 50% off.

For starters, I changed out the floral arrangement on the left side by adding this copper flower bucket I already had from Southern Living, added some new greenery and this corner now looks SO much better!

The copper planter is much more substantial than what was there before, and the colors really work with the rest of the mantel.

Then I also added a crow to the top of the nesting boxes and now I feel like the height of everything is much more proportionate and works better.

On the right side I added a little moss ball as a filler to add some texture and interest to this side.


 

All in all I like this MUCH better and now feel like its complete!  :)
