Touches of Coastal Design in the Bathroom

Today is a special day. Why may you ask? Well it is special because I am about 1/2 way finished with a bathroom update that I have been working on for months! Yes, months!

So naturally I am excited to share it with you, but, because its not "show worthy" yet I am going to let you come in but only for a sneak peek.

So come on into my bathroom.............

In here you will find soft coastal touches like this crisp white table, with some green glass mason jars, a star fish, and soft new towels in a lined basket .

Some changes to the bath tub surround were a must for this makeover.......

Lots of new silver accents for some sparkle........

And some feminine touches like ruffles to tie it all together.

Today I am giving you a glimpse of what is in store for this bathroom.

I hope to have it complete and ready to show you by the Spring.

Given THIS is how the bathroom started, there will obviously be plenty of DIY tutorials with this one too, so I can't wait to get this room finished!

I love  the direction this makeover is taking and all this coastal charm puts me in the mood for Summer!

Have a great week!

Jennifer

New Kitchen Faucet....Finally!

Hello friends!
I am finally BACK after an extended break and have so much to show you! I needed the downtime after the holidays to regroup and get some stuff done around the house and I am happy to now be back and action.

I have missed you guys and am so excited to finally share with you our latest kitchen upgrade.....our new kitchen faucet.

Before I show you the new jewel I must remind you of what we started with.

Remember this old faucet.....the TEN year old faucet that was outdated and couldn't stay clean?

Yuck!

See the hard water deposits and the grime that collected around the base?
I was able to keep it clean using this method, but after 10 years and lots of work to keep it clean we decided it was time for an upgrade.

That leads us to my new friend.
A gorgeous pull out faucet that shines!

What do you think? Do you like it?

Simply push the button on top to activate the sprayer.

Or you can let it run like a regular faucet.

Here I am pulling out the sprayer. This will come in very handy, especially with washing out big pans that are too large to fit under the regular faucet.

We thought about getting a faucet with a goose neck but we really like the pull out feature so we decided to get this faucet by Moen.

The pull out feature not only works great for washing big pans but it makes watering plants/flower pots a breeze and is great for reaching all around the sink to wash everything away.

If you are thinking about getting a new kitchen faucet, I highly recommend one with a pull out like this one.

Now, on to the rest of my to-do list....I have been searching for paint color inspiration for my next project, so stay close by!

There's a lot more in store!

Hugs!
